    logofire216's Whitelist Application

Welcome to the forums! Next you will want to make an introduction here. In order to get whitelisted, you are going to need to create 10 forum posts, each must be at least 5 words long. Your application and introduction count as one each, so after both of those are complete, you will only have 8 more posts to go! Once you have met all of your requirements, staff will inform you with a [ REQUIREMENTS MET ] post. Staff will then hold a vote to see if you are fit for the community. Within 24 hours, a decision will be made and you will be greeted with either an [ APPROVED ] or a [ DENIED ] post depending on the outcome. Here are a few rules for general forum etiquette: 1. Don't spam. We want all posts to be meaningful and add to the conversation. Please make sure to make all of your posts longer than one line. Also make sure to take time in making your posts to avoid crowding others out of the conversation. 2. Don't necro-post. This is when you reply to a thread older than a few weeks. If you really feel that you have something important to say about it, feel free to start a new thread and link the old one so everyone knows what you are talking about. 3. Don't double-post. This is when you reply to the same thread twice before someone else does, if you need to add something to your last post, make sure to use the edit button at the bottom of your post instead. 4. Be nice. Be nice and respectful to everyone on the forums. We all want everyone here to have a good time, so please do not ruin this experience for others. Good luck on getting whitelisted!

    7th Passing of the Blades

Seventh Passing of the Blades Many short months have passed, and we finally have a new full set of staff members! The Elections ended a couple weeks ago, and the public has decided that GreasyTroll4 and Kaddaschatzi are to fill the temporary Baron seats left empty by the purge of the Parliament. The ceremony is to be held at the spawn stage, on July 21st at 1 PM EST. Due to some scheduling issues (you know which GT caused them), we've had to push the ceremony to this date to accommodate all those involved. P_Puddles shall be seen to pass on his official Blade of Parliament to GreasyTroll4, while Kaddaschatzi shall keep her previous blade. What is the Order of Everneth? Our community is in constant expansion, so for those who do not know what the Order is; the Order was originally founded on August 30th, 2016 at the closure of Term 1 as a means of elevating the old "Distinguished Member Medal" to something more meaningful. You may have seen people in game with the Sir or Lady titles. This is the Order's rank shown. To give a quote from the old post: The intention is that this honor is difficult to get. Much like real life honors, going above and beyond is absolutely a minimum requirement before the Order is even considered to be given to someone. Most of those who have been inducted to the Order are past and present staff. It's no secret that its skewed this way, but Staff have been given an extra opportunity to serve this community and those who have been exceptional and representing what Everneth is meant to be have been awarded appropriately. Current Members: StuartSnook GreasyTroll4 rolo_ AmzCuriousPanda Sybillian Pandeoo EarthCube FearlessPie If you are aiming for the Order, we encourage you to aim high and don't give up. Keep in mind that you need to go beyond the lower precedence awards (King's Cross, Virtuous Medal, et al) and truly make your mark among the cornerstone of this community. This doesn't mean budding up with staff, and simply working silently away at your base. Get involved, engage with people, participate, and contribute in the best way you can. As a final note, make sure to wish GreasyTroll4 and Kaddaschatzi luck to their re-entrances to staff as our new Barons! Glory to the Order!

    Season 4 Awards

Season 4 Awards Traditionally we haven't seen monthly awards in several months and while this season draws to a close it is again time to honor the accomplishments of the citizens of this community. These awards aim to recognise our citizens for their hard work, service to the community and exceptional achievements in building, redstoning and PvP. While most awards are given out exclusively based on merit, the Companion of Everneth and Parliament Service Medal are time-based and are thus awarded automatically for being a citizen of Everneth for six months and completing a term on parliament, respectively. Other awards that are being given out this time are: Beer award: For committing the derpiest act for the given month (or in this case several months). Purple Heart of Dedication: Awarded to players who go the extra mile in helping new players transition into our community. Outstanding Build Medal: For completing a truly exceptional project or build on the server. Virtuous Medal: For significant contributions to public works and projects. Ministerial Excellence Medal: The equivalent of employee of the month or student of the month. The Ministerial Excellence medal is awarded to the top performer of all ministries. Order of Everneth Medal: This medal is awarded to members inducted into the Order. This award is the hardest to achieve and is Everneth's highest honor. Members of the order are knighted and respectable members of our community. Kingstone Entry Examinations

Kingstone Vassal and Kingsglaive Application IGN: TheSteelNinja14 Character Name: Kordon Build Name: Kuiken Character Profile Character description: Kordon is currently a middle aged man from overseas. Prior to his home islands destruction, he was a fisher just barely getting by with little to none fighting experience. All of this changed with the islands demise, being leveled by a powerful arcane orb being used past it's limit for the islands own gain and spreading magical radiation in its wake. Whilst this had happened, the sea god himself had risen to prevent the chaos but was too late. Seeing Kordon as the last sane survivor out on a fishing trip, Poseidon pulled from his magical cache the Prismarine Blade and handed the weapon to Kordon to finish the job and put the towns souls to rest. Once the slaughter of lesser Alvionspawn, which had been his people, was done, Kordon found himself another man. One that could fight at that, as he had realized the sword came with a terrible cost. Icarus, just a vassal of Brytannia at the time, had set his fleet's sails towards the indigo plumes rising from the island and discovered Kordon within the destruction. The two men had the same goal in mind: a new home. So they joined forces and sailed together, docking on land now known as Kingstone. Kordon, now with a missing space in his heart, had set off to begin a new Kuiken on Kingstone territory as a Vassal and Glaive. Now protecting what he had left and what he had gained with the use of his Prismarine Blade and newfound fighting spirit. Build description: The new Kuiken is a town by the ocean side that started off as a fishing shack for Kordon to get by with the missing part of his life, as the area grabbed more and more attention because of Kordon's advertisements in the lands, folk looking for a job, home or even a new life had turned and joined with Kordon. As the years came and went, their cooperation had risen as Kuiken's successor, making it's spot on the map known. Currently the town supplies nearby settlements with plentiful fish and oversea trading goods. Applicant notes: When I joined Kingstone in S4, I had no idea that I'd ever enjoy a role play of all things so much. It was just something I did to pass the time. But I had proved myself wrong. I found my place that I could really become involved in something and Kingstone has ingrained itself into my head with the time I've been in it. It's kind of a part of me that I think of on the daily and more. Now onto the rest of the notes, I feel as if I owe it to Kingstone to finish Kuiken in some way shape or form better than it would have if I did actually finish it in S4, a town is coming and it's gonna be the best town in the lands, I promise you that. On the fighting hand though, I am an above average fighter myself given both sides have similar gear. Although I still have some room for improvement as always, I can hold my own well in times of fighting and will sacrifice myself for the better of the King if need be. I present myself here in the best manner possible to protect the Kingstone name with all my heart

    Season 5 Base Update!

I've already given you feedback on test so I'll keep this brief 😛 I still love the theme and structure of your build. The exteriors are interesting from every angle and your detailing fits the theme very well. However, in my opinion you should still add a trim of stone bricks around your roof to give it a bit more structure. 😛 Also fire breathing dog snake ftw! (should defo share a screenshot of it, it's beautiful)
  14. Hey guys! This is just an update post to my previous base post a few weeks ago. Since then, I have chosen to go with the Japanese castle theme, and I have also finished the design. I got inspiration for this castle from a Grian video that he made, (don't worry, I didn't copy the video). Also, don't mind the ugly bridge and statue, was just messing around with Kathi and pudds on test. As always, if you would like to help build this project and live inside with me, just reply to this thread.

  17. (This Document will be edited over and over again.) Books: The Rules of Acquisition (From Star Trek, there is a list), Origin, Travels Rules of Acquisition: These are the holiest of the texts, although not all have been recovered. Kings may add one on their deathbeds. Origin: Chapter 1: 1 In the beggining Glod created profit and the heavens and the Earth for His profit. 2 He made the ground full of valuable ores and the oceans to travel on. 3 He then created the plants to create valuable fruits and materials and the fish of the sea to provide valuable food. 4 He then created animals for their valuable eggs and milk and skin and meat. 5 But he realized He needed something to collect these profit so he could profit glory from His work, so he began on man. 6 He made fifty men and fifty women, and they were very valuable. They collected and built and traded, profiting for themselves and for Glod's glory. 7 However, after 700 years passed, these 100 men and women became 1000, and these 1000 shared everything, making no profit. 8 Glod then was very angry and was near killing them all. 9 But Glod saw a community of 100 people who still profited, so he struck down the rest and let the others remain. However, these 100 had previously sinned and were part of the Commune, so they were cursed with mortal lives. 9 These 100 spread and filled the Earth with profits. 10 Glod then saw a group of people were settling a city and knew it would be profitable. It was led by Coinham. 11 And Glod went down to Coinham in the form of a burning donkey and said "Coinham, who am I?" And Coinham replied "A donkey speaking with tongues of fire?" 12 Glod said "No, for I am a sign from the Glod of Profits." 13 Coinham bowed and took off his sandals. 14 Glod said "You and this land are blessed with wealth, along with your sons for eternity. This entire valley is holy ground, and you may not wear shoes in it." 15 And Coinham built the city and it was profitable Chapter 2: 1 After 7 years, Glod called Coinham to the mountains and said "Coinham, rules must be made in order to further our profit. 2 First, put nothing above profit but I, Glod of Profits, for Profit is greatest and I am Profit. 3 Second, put nothing above yourself but profit, and third, put nothing above family but profit and self. 4 Fourth, do not steal another man's property or money but by means of competition and profit. 5 Fifth, one must obey their parents and elders unless it interferes with profit. 6 Sixth, do not forsake profit, for this is the only sin unable to be sacrificed away. 7 Seventh, give a tenth of your profit to the Holy Merchants, for they must spread the word of Profit. 8 Eighth, do not murder. Ninth, do not fornicate. Tenth, never leave the Glod of Profits, for he never ends." 9 So Coinham spread the word and the people rejoiced. 10 The sacrificial system was set up to forgive sins, where one sacrificed according to their profit. 11 And the City of Profitecca grew and profited greatly, along with King Coinham Chapter 3: 1 The time came that war was inevitable, and the warriors of Profitecca gathered along with King Coinham and Glod of Profits told Coinham 2 "This is the word of myself, Glod of Profits. The enemy will try to take everything you hold dear. Follow my commands and put profit first, and you will profit greatly. 3 However, if one man does not try to profit, he and two others will be struck down with the sword." 4 And Coinham told the others what Glod had said. 5 So the time came for battle, and the enemy army of 10,000 met the 1,000 warriors of Profitecca. The warriors fought and profited from the belongings of their slain enemies. 6 King Coinham himself fought and struck down 100 men, then came upon the king of the enemy who they had conquered. 7 Coinham let the King leave with all of his belongings in exchange for never returning. 8 Glod came to Coinham in a vision and asked "Why have you forsaken profit? 9 You have let their King leave without losing a dime." 10 "My Glod," said Coinham, "I have assuredly profited from that exchange." 11 "How so?" Glod asked. 12 "They would come back with 100,000 men, whose bodies would need to be disposed of, which would lose profit, for it would take the city a year to clean." 13 And the vision ended and Coinham rejoiced along with the Priests. 14 Then the profits of Profitecca increased tenfold. Chapter 4: 1 But the time came where the king of the enemy had passed away and a new king began conquering all of the lands. 2 When the men of Profitecca heard of the size of the enemy and their power, they were fearful. 3 And King Coinham said "This is the word of the Glod of profits, He will guide you and protect you as long as you put profit first." 4 And the army of the enemy arrived and the army of 1,000,000 met the army of 1,000. 5 However, 333 of the Warriors of Profitecca turned against profit and suggested surrender. 6 As the battle continued, the million were no longer a million, but the Warriors of Profitecca began to be defeated until all that was left was Coinham. 7 And for 10 days he held back and fought the enemy army away until they retreated. 8 However, Coinham returned home without profiting from the bodies of those he had slain, and as he returned home to his wife and son, he was struck by Glod. 9 And immediately, he saw a vision. 10 He saw a throne of a material he had never seen, but the glory of Glod's profit gleamed from it. 11 "You have forsaken me, Coinham." Glod said. 12 "I could not profit off all of those bodies! If my men had listened, they would do it with me!" 13 "You have made the same mistake as they. 14 However, there is hope in the future you in your profits have foreseen. 15 Your hope in this has saved you into eternal profits. 16 However, you must die, but when you die your son, Dollham will receive a book of the Rules of Acquisition. 17 He will pass these down for generations, but Profitecca will not stand, 18 for the army will return and destroy it. 19 However, your profits are in a holy place that only a king of your bloodline can open. 20 This is the Word of the Glod of Profits, and this is written in a separate page your son will receive." 21 And the Word of Glod became true, and the Royal Family of Dollham retreated with very little, forced to begin making profits with nothing. 22 And for 5 generations the Royal Family traded and sold while traveling and received the universal surname of Porter. Travels: Chapter 1: 1 In the days of Joseph Porter I, the Porter family was large and rich, yet had no home. Their caravan was large, but famous. 2 So Joseph, head of the Porter Clan, asked Glod "Lord, how may we profit more for your glory? 3 For we empty the savings of entire cities and cannot profit more." 4 And this was the response of Glod of Profits: "You have followed the Rules of Acquisition and my first 10 commands. 5 You have profited greatly, and greater than any other. 6 You must build a city by the coast I will show you, making blessed profits along the way. 7 But behold, you are the holiest of your clan, and your family has not obeyed my commands. 8 Therefore, it will be 40 years of wandering before you arrive at your new city and this generation will have passed. 9 But your son, who you have named Joseph, will lead the city of Acquis to great profits. 10 the city will be flowing with gold and fruit and it will be very profitable." 11 And Joseph I told the clan, and the clan resented. 12 And Joseph I said " Is it not your sins that condemn you to not see these great riches? 13 For you have not obeyed Glod's Commands and are condemned to death!" 14 But half of the clan started a revolution against their leaders and began to attack the other half. 15 But the half that rebelled were not successful in revolting, for they never broke a twig or bone. 16 And half of the half that revolted faded away into flakes. 17 And Joseph I said "This is the word of Glod: 'Run from me, dread me, profit still arrives.' For Glod is profit, and any who oppose Him will flake away in their sins." 18 And a vortex of gold led the clan where they were to go. Chapter 2: 1 And during the travels, Joseph picked a young man, John, to be his heir. 2 And on the third year, the clan came into a city with no name. 3 And the clan profited greatly, 4 for they bought product at a tenth of the price and sold for ten times their price. 5 And the products were very valuable, including jewelry like none other and a silk as soft as air. 6 And the clan continued on. However, the clan came to a desert the next day, which Glod told them to go through. 7 But half of the Clan wished to return to the nameless city instead. 8 Then John spoke and said "This is the Word of Glod: 'All who follow my Profits even into the desert will profit greatly, 9 but all who return to the city will find but dust and become as the city.'" 9 However, half of the clan returned to the city while the other half stepped into the desert and fasted for 10 days. 10 However, on the tenth night, Glod gave Joseph and John a vision. 11 A grand city stood before them, tall with structures like no other. 12 And a voice told them "This is a city with great structures, but behold, no profit. 13 Without profit, the city will fade into dust, along with those who do great things but do not follow Me. 14 Stop fasting and continue, for the half of the clan that left has faded into dust." 15 And the clan continued into the desert, finding plentiful fruit of all sorts, jewels of immense value, and thread as thin as air. 16 And the Clan profited greatly in the desert for 10 years.
  18. Name: Jay Porter Title: King of Valland Background: Jay Porter was born to Jay Porter, son of Jay Porter, of Jay Porter, of Jay Porter; He is the twentieth Jay Porter in his family. His family ruled Valland and the seas since it's creation. The name Jay Porter holds a special significance in the world of merchants; it is estimated the King of Valland receives a quarter of all the money and goods traded in the entire Ghat Sea per year. Jay Porter was raised like any prince and was treated greatly and even had the entire collection of the Ecotorah- including the Rules of Acquisition. At 13, a great disease swept Valland, killing King Jay XVIII and then, a week later, King Jay IXX, leaving Jay Porter XX as the king. Although Horace said "Pale death beats equally at the poor man's gate and at the palaces of kings," the palace was the area of least death; exactly half of Valland's population died. For the first few years of his reign, King Jay XX quickly rebuilt the city. Although men may die, gold didn't, and Jay inherited the great Royal Treasury, that he was to make a mark on. Jay was raised to love in this order: Love profit, then self, then others. Jay always followed this idea as stated in the Ecotorah in Profit 3:1-3: "One should love profit above all else, so that they may afford to love themselves and love others. For one must make himself happy in order to truly make others happy, and money is happiness; profit helps everyone involved with it." Therefore, Jay will act according to these principles in this order. Skills: Jay can make money and convince anyone to buy anything at a reasonable price. Jay is well educated, but in a focus on the Profitical Teachings.

    Character Profile: Arlin Zumrik

Oh my lord, I didn't even have to help with the card. I appreciate the fact that you kept the "smells like" meta going, character profiles are really the only way you'd know, but it's turned into an inside joke. I wish I could've worked with you for Ike's speaking lines, although I suppose that does kinda ruin the surprise I got from seeing this here. Very well done. I am proud, as always, to call you Kingstonian.
  20. Arlin Zumrik was born in a small forest elf village, by the name of Ryvelin. Ryvelin was a very beautiful place, the chirps of birds and blooming flowers all filled the air with delight. Arlin grew up in a small home, with 3 siblings. Personal space was very hard to come by in the home, so Arlin spent most of his childhood with the wildlife outside. Arlin's mother and father were both hunters, providing a significant amount of food for the village and the family. By the time Arlin was 15, he had already learned how to skillfully hunt, and provide for the family as well. Arlin believed that he wanted to become a hunter himself, and live within the village until the day he would die. This soon changed however, when Arlin's mother was fatally shot during one of the routine hunting trips. Arlin knew that being killed as a hunter was a large possibility, thus, his dreams changed. He no longer knew what his life would contain. One day, as Arlin was sitting in a tree above his home, the smell of smoke traveled through the village. He jumped down and looked into the forest, licks of fire shot up through the canopy. Arlin started yelling for everybody to get out of the village, knowing that they did not have the resources to stop the raging flames. Arlin's family wasn't in their home, they were surely mourning at the cemetery on the outskirts of town; where the fire had already burned. The village was surrounded, and Arlin knew he had to run. So, using his wit, he ran up the tree once again, reaching a branch that was above the fire. Arlin leaped, praying that he could make it over. When Arlin touched the ground, he was joyful that he could not feel burns all over his body. Arlin made a run for it to the Northeast, where he had heard rumors of a rising kingdom. Arlin traveled along a path, hoping that it would lead to the faraway place. After several days, of walking, hunting, and resting, a tower bearing a red and gold flag appeared over the horizon. Arlin screamed with excitement, which was strange after all that he had just lost. He walked up to the gate, asking to speak to the King. The guard questioned him, then allowed him to speak to the King after hearing his story. Arlin went into the keep, and found King Icarus Forde already aware of his presence in the kingdom. Arlin began to speak, "H-Hi, sir. I've come from Ryvelin. I need a place to live and work. If you need anything done just tell me and I'll-" The King cut him off. "Listen, son. There is an area around here. It goes by the name of Mirkwood, recently renovated from a bandit's lair into the flourishing city it currently is." Icarus said. "Can I live there?" Arlin asked. "You may, on one condition: Mirkwood doesn't have any ties to Kingstone as of right now, I want you to change that. Put up a wall, flags, recruit soldiers. You can lead the village as a vassal of Kingstone. There is no leader of Mirkwood right now, and it seems no citizen wants to be the leader, this is your shot." Icarus explained. "I'll go there right now and tell the citizens I will be their leader. Thank you," Arlin told the king. When Arlin arrived in Mirkwood, the people were thrilled to see a new face in town. Arlin rounded the people up on a path, and spoke of his plans with the village. The people were joyous, finally having somebody to lead them through the dangers in the world. Arlin adopted his culture into the village, with elves being the skilled military archers for the settlement. To this day. Arlin still continues to build Mirkwood into the greatest it can be.

Remind yourself that grammar, formatting, and effort all have the utmost importance to your chances of getting accepted into the kingdom. I also feel the need to say that many people have expressed a desire to join Kingstone and I wish to be outnumbered by enemies, so you will be competing with your fellow applicants. Kingstonians will begin to earn monthly allowance** as they rise to the ranks, as well as secret discord channels and war councils. There are six basic ranks of players who can call themselves Kingstonian. The King - The ruling monarch, King Icarus Forde at the time of writing. The Inner Circle - Through dedication and working closely alongside the King, these members have gained his deepest trust. The Kingsglaive - The legendary warriors who are die-hard loyal to the King and his wishes. The Vassal - Landowners who receive the King's protection and wealth for answering the call of war and fighting against the enemies of Kingstone. The Councilmen - Advisors to the above tiers, tasked with assisting their liege in construction and decision-making but are barred from fighting in war. The Laborer - Peasants paid per-job, serving as gatherers and builders supporting Kingstone's economy and infrastructure. Now, the road to becoming King is long and hard, and if you want to become King of Kingstone you'll be looking for me as a corpse, so I'll only be accepting Kingsglaive and below, as only going above and beyond the call of duty can earn you the title "Inner Circle". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joining the Kingsglaive - There are three basic requirements to becoming a part of the 'glaive of Kingstone. Unique Character Design/Roleplay Skill - The Kingsglaive are an integral reason Kingstone's military has seen such success, and their prevalence in the "Legend of Kingstone" require them to be interesting, unique, and immersive. A Character Profile would be infinitely helpful in your quest to becoming a member of the 'glaive. These players are held to a degree of roleplaying skill, this means your character must fit in the world of Kingstone, and the Everneth Universe at large, think low fantasy medieval, I'll be denying any TRON robots with nuke launchers. Finally, you must always respect roleplay etiquette. No meta-gaming (causing your character to act with information he/she shouldn't have but instead acting on information you have as a player), or controlling other characters (speaking for another player's character without permission or assuming your actions go without reaction, for example: avoid saying things like "I stab you in the throat, killing you instantly"). Loyalty to the Crown - Kingsglaive are defined by their loyalty. They obey the King's commands without hesitation and trust in his ability to lead the kingdom to further victory. As a result, I expect my Kingsglaive to respect Kingstone and defend it with your ((character's)) life. Its citizens and homes must be protected at all costs and an insult to Kingstone is an insult to you. Combat Proficiency - Kingsglaive are feared on the battlefield, and powered by Ike's magical weapons of war(Brisingr, Ax of Odin, etc) the earth must shudder under you as you walk. You won't be required to be Achilles or anything, but I expect the 'glaive to perform well in the field. All loyalty in the world is no replacement for raw talent and strength. Some vassals become Kingsglaive, but I have yet to have a Kingsglaive member that wasn't also a vassal. I am willing to work with you to help design your character and weapon as well as the circumstances in which your character meets the King and becomes a member of the 'glaive. Example Kingsglaive Application: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Becoming a Vassal - There are two basic requirements (along with joining the event battles) to becoming a vassal Building Skill/Progression - The main job of a vassal of Kingstone is the build and rule over a small part of the kingdom's territory. This means you must be willing to start and finish your build. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither was Kingstone, but I expect progress to be made, even if it's just fifteen minutes a day. Fiefs (areas of land given to vassals) must 'fit' in the Kingstone theme, this means doing your best to build something attractive, and believable. Medieval is a good theme to follow, but I'd also except high elf fantasy, oriental, etc. Just don't build any cars or spaceships, and don't build bigger than the capital itself. Character Uniqueness - Vassals also need to have their own characters to play as, but aren't expected to be as passionate about the lore and war as the Kingsglaive. However, like the Kingsglaive you would greatly benefit from a Character Profile. I am willing to work with you in designing your character as well as finding a purpose/theme for your build. Example Vassal Application: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Becoming a Councilmen - Compared to the above two applicants, looking to become a part of someone's council is relatively easy. A councilman's main job is to assist their liege in any way they can. This usually means help them build/design their fief, or advise them in matters of state and politics. The councilman can be a priceless tool to a vassal or 'glaive, and unlike a laborer, members of a Kingstonian Council receive a monthly allowance. In order to become someone's councilmen, all you must do is earn a member of Kingstone's trust and attention. Vassals are responsible for their council just as the King is responsible for his vassals, so it is important for a councilman to be trustworthy as well as hardworking, as a vassal with too many councilmen can begin to lose track of his people. Councilmen cannot participate in official roleplay battles, as that would unbalance the teams in Kingstone's favor. Example of a vassal or 'glaive member officially accepting a councilman: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Becoming a Laborer - The easiest rank to attain in Kingstone. The laborers are players who aren't so much interested in the roleplay or the wars, but rather making a paycheck or buying land in Kingstone. They import or gather materials for Kingstone in return for Kingstone Crowns** Kingstonian Laborers can also, of course, sell and work for other factions, a practice that would be very suspicious to any other rank. However, they do not receive a monthly allowance, nor are they allowed to participate in official roleplay battles, as that would unbalance the teams in Kingstone's favor. Example of a Laborer's Application: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Yes, I take it that seriously. The good news is though, that the harsher I am with the applicants, the more dedicated the people who actually end up joining are! **Kingstone Crowns (and a currently unnamed, unconfirmed silver coin) are the custom currency I will be minting in Season 5 of Everneth. Crowns can be used to buy real estate in the Capital, as well as steak/diamonds/fireworks. I'd ask that all applications come as replies to this thread. That said I wish you all good luck and encourage you to apply to any opposing or neutral roleplay factions if you aren't fortunate enough to make it in while we're recruiting.

    Kingstone Quest: Board 1

Trying something new here, this is the first of what is hopefully a recurring series. May I present to you: **KINGSTONE QUESTS!** Basically, it's my attempt to implement a questing system into my Kingstone roleplay. If you catch me online, (or @RashE#6503 on discord and if I'm available I'll hop on) you and your friends have a chance to make some extra cash or go on an adventure! This is my first attempt at something like this and I would love your feedback to help improve it for Board #2! You are allowed to use any weapons or sets of armor you wish as long as they are gotten in survival. NOTE: These quests might be considered dangerous, so it is very important that I am there to supervise, both for your sake and for mine. That said I won't hold your hand or participate in any fights you might find yourself in (unless the safety of items or the server comes into question). Several paper documents are nailed to a noticeboard outside a tavern in Kingstone's outer city. Included are the usual wanted posters and portraits of missing people, requests for donation and charity, and, of course, odd jobs. Several catch your eye: 1. Hunt 1: Cockatrice Den "Local merchants have sent reports of a lone cockatrice roaming the roads between Kingstone and spawn. If true, then this hostile beast must be dealt with. Track it down and slay it, bringing back its glimmering egg as proof of the deed. Cockatrice are known for hunting near their den, so if you find a corpse of a wild animal, you may be able to follow some tracks back to it's hiding place. Return to King Icarus Forde for reward." -Kordon of the Kingsglaive -Minimum participants: 1 -Kill the lone cockatrice who is hiding somewhere along the path between Kingstone and spawn. -Return to its mob drop to RashE_ for a reward. REWARD: The cockatrice egg, as well as your choice below: Pick one: -A written story of the 'venture on the Open World Roleplay forums by RashE_ -10 Kingstone Crowns* for Season 5 -8 diamonds on completion 2. Hunt 2: Loden Encampment "Loden encampments are popping up all over Everneth while Kingstone reels from the bandit hordes' attack. All of the Kingsglaive and most of Northkeep have all been dispatched to destroy these camps, but we are spread thin. I am willing to greatly reward anyone foolish enough to attack the base and raze it. Several merchant wagons have been lost somewhere between Kingstone and its embassy in spawn, so that is where your search should start. There you should find a trail to the enemy's base. Be very careful, as these are the spawn of the Desolate One himself and will be equipped as well or better than yourself. Bring me the skull of their skeletal Captain and I will reward you handsomely." -Jace Lawry, Lord Commander of the Northkeep -Minimum participants: 4 -Recommended participants: 5+ -Find and clear the Loden Encampment somewhere along the path between Kingstone and spawn, keep your eyes out for ruined wagons. -Return the Captain's Skeleton Skull to RashE_ for a reward. REWARD: The several sets of enchanted diamond gear the officers of Loden wear and the gold & diamonds bound to be within their camp. As well as your choice below: Pick one(each): -50 Kingstone Crowns* for Season 5 -Mending book and 15 diamonds on completion 3. Hunt 3: Cockatrice Infested Abandoned Mines "Several cockatrice have been spotted nearby Kingstone and the reports of missing children stolen by ugly winged beasts cannot go unanswered. A traveler from the spawn embassy reported multiple deer corpses strung about along the path between the embassy and Kingstone, mauled to death by wicked claws. They are likely hiding within the abandoned mine west of Mirerest, if that is the case they have had plenty of room to grow and will be numerous and well fed. Any party of adventurers looking to claim this reward would do well to remember cockatrice poison can be easily counteracted by draughts of regeneration. Good luck, King Icarus Forde" -It is stamped with the royal sigil of Kingstone. -Minimum participants: 3 -Find and clear the cockatrice out of an abandoned mine along the path between Kingstone and the spawn embassy. -Return the cockatrice eggs to RashE_. REWARD: The several glimmering cockatrice eggs, as well as your choice below: Pick one(each): -A written story of the 'venture on the Open World Roleplay forums by RashE_ -30 Kingstone Crowns* for Season 5 -20 diamonds on completion *Kingstone Crowns are the custom gold coins that I'll be regulating in Season 5 that are special to Kingstone, and minted by RashE_. Members of Kingstone will be receiving them monthly but they can be earned by outsiders through quests and war. They can be used to buy real estate in Kingstone as well as steak/diamonds/fireworks in-game. Kingstone Currency will not be purchasable with diamonds etc. Good Hunting!
