The Ministry of the Interior, commonly shortened to MINT, is a staff run group of players who complete public works projects. These projects are built for community use, and designed by MINT members. Historically, MINT has been responsible for creating Nether Hubs, End Farms, stages for the Passing of the Blades, Parliament Buildings, and smaller projects such as community farms, spawn decor, and roads for spawn.
The Minister is responsible for overseeing all Ministry of the Interior affairs, as well as all members of the Ministry. The Minister handles Inspector applications, project assignments, and managing activity within the Ministry.
The Deputy Minister is the second in command and may step in if the Minister is not available. The Deputy Minister handles project management, as well as assisting the Minister in their duties when needed.
The Resident Builder is assigned large scale building projects by the Minister and Deputy Minister. These projects typically include the Nether Hub, Parliament Building, and the stage for the Passing of the Blades.
Inspectors are responsible for working on and finishing server projects, running server events, resolving disputes that do not reach a Staff level, and maintaining the Test Server. Inspectors are responsible for ensuring players adhere to the Nether Hub and Spawn building rules. Inspectors are also given access to CoreProtect. Inspectors are signified by pink names in Discord, as well as a hammer and pick by their names in the playerlist.
While the Ministry is not always looking for new Inspectors, you can always volunteer to help with projects! Whether this be gathering materials or helping to construct projects, this is always a great start to becoming an Inspector in the future!
The Minister may open applications periodically depending on workload and current Inspector count. Players can also be asked to join directly by the Minister if they have helped with projects while not acting as an Inspector. Any interest in joining MINT outside of these windows should be directed to the Minister or Deputy Minister.
